In a great move for all embedded lovers, Jean J. Labrosse has announced a day ago that uCOS-III source code is now available for as well as its 6 books in PDF format.
Furthermore, colleges and universities can use it for free.
You can check Jean J. Labrosse announcing it here.
The source code can be downloaded from here.
The books are available from here.
The big question is "Why after a 2 years of release its source code is made available?"
If you have an answer, please share.
I think i have a proper answer, any entity may release it's products for free after a period of time, it means that this product is mature enough and it brings the expected cash-flow so the entity owner may search for other cash-flow from it like broadcast the product for free and offer a commercial support for their products.
